Alternative Investment Fund
An Indian Alternative Investment fund, has been organized as a contributory trust under Indian law. Ativir Alternative Investment Fund is registered as Category I (SME Fund) Alternative Investment Fund under the SEBI (Alternative Investment Fund) Regulations, 2012. The SEBI Registration No. of Ativir Alternative Investment Fund is IN/AIF1/15-16/0150 dated May 21, 2015.
Ativir Small and Medium Enterprise Fund
(ASMEF)
A Scheme of Ativir Alternative Investment Fund. ASMEF was launched in the year 2015. The scheme is managed by Ativir Securities Private Limited, a company established under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, as its Investment Manager. Ativir Securities Private Limited is also the Sponsor of the Fund.
ASMEF has a tenure of 15 years (plus an option of 1 + 1 year) and has been launched with the objective of making private equity investments in entities/companies engaged in any sector or segment with focus on SME segment including listed, unlisted, proposed to be listed securities on SME segment as well as on normal segment as permissible under the Regulation. The Scheme’s First/Initial closing date was 30th September, 2015 and the Final Closing date was 30th September, 2017.
